Boys Finish Seventh
Girls win at Leslie County
The Clay County girls team won Saturday's track meet at Leslie County and the boys finished seventh. Katie Smallwood was second in the 110 meter high hurdles and was fourth in the 300 hurdles. Telisha Copeland was fifth in the 300 hurdles. Dwight Scalf was fourth in the boys 110 meter hurdles.
Lisa Parsley was fourth in the girls 100 meter dash and sixth in the 200 meter dash; Adam Reid was sixth in the boys 100 meter dash and second in the 800 meter dash; Brittany Combs won the 3200 meter run and was second in the 1600 meter run; Philip Thompson won the 300 meter hurdles; Kayla Swafford was third in the 800 meter dash
Robbie Tomlin was sixth in the 200 meter dash; Kathy Mathis won the girls shot put and was second in the discus throw; Erin Collins was sixth in the discus throw; Jenna Wilson was second in the girls long jump and second in the triple jump; Beth Sester was third in the girls triple jump; Jordan Phillips, Katie Smallwood and Jenna Wilson placed 1-2-3 in the girls high jump.
