First National tops Hickory
First National Bank crushed Big Hickory 13-3 Monday behind the three-hit pitching of Kendell Sizemore and th hitting of Delbert Collins (3-3, two doubles), John Wilson (2-3, double, triple and walk), Corey Nicholson (2-2, double, walk) and Kendell Sizemore ((2-3, two doubles).
Big Hickory scored their three runs in the first inning on three walks and a single by Tyler Sumner. FNB reeled off six straight hits to begin the bottom half of the inning, and finished with seven runs on eight hits. Ben Jackson (triple), Trinity Bowling (double) and Dylan Barrett each had a hit. John Colwell and Adam Furguson had the other hits for Big Hickory.

Young's scored three runs in the home half of the third and fifth to get the win. Tyler Young had a double and single and scored two runs to boost the winners. Todd McDaniel doubled, was hit by a pitch and scored twice in two official at bats. McDaniel pitched the first three innings, allowing a run on one hit and struck out six to get the win.
Young went the final three on the mound giving up five hits and striking out five. Chad Bullock, C.J. Miller, Brian Bennett (double), Nick Root (double), Bobby Caldwell and Trent Thompson each had a hit for the winners.
John Wilson (double, run), Dylan Barrett (double, run) and Trinity Bowling each had two hits for FNB. Corey Nicholson was 1-3 and scored a run.

Corey Nicholson allowed four singles and struck out 11 over six innings as FNB topped Burns Saturday afternoon. Nicholson (double), John Wilson (two runs), Ben Jackson (two RBI's), Trinity Bowling and Chuckie Hubbard each had a hit for the winners. Brandon Griffin had two hits for Burns and scored twice. Alex Hensley drove in two runs with two singles.
