Clay Rival inks with UK

According to several recruiting analysts the University of Kentucky Lady Kats Basketball recruiting class is the sixth best in the country. First year Coach Mickie DeMoss who came to UK via the University of Tennessee, has already signed three of the nation's top 40 players.

Clay County fans are all to familiar with one of DeMoss's top recruits, Jackson County's 6'6" senior center, Sarah Elliott. Elliott rated the 29th best player in the nation, held a signing ceremony at her school last Thursday.

Don't be surprised if DeMoss doesn't make a few recruiting visits to Manchester in a year or so. Clay County sophomore Jayme "Skooly" Gilbert was ranked among the top 50 guards in the nation in a few recruiting publications last year and will be drawing lots of attention.
